Majesa has been proudly working with Panamas for over 35 years. The founder Jenny is from Ecuador and has always used her unrivalled knowledge, experience and passion for panamas to provide the largest range in the market. The panama hoods are woven in Ecuador and finished by hand using traditional millinery techniques in a stunning restored Lutonian Victorian Hat factory which was previously a boater straw processing house in 1917 (!), aptly named “Hat House”. They started hat making in-house with the help of Jennys daughter Mavi, in 2018 and they boast an impressive client list and a solid reputation, supplying royalty, musicians, fashion designers, high end luxury retailers across the globe, many of which have been coming back year after year. It has always been their commitment to source only the very best quality raw materials hand-picking their products with continuous visits to Ecuador and a fantastic reputation. Majesa have their panama straw produced especially for them by over 500 weavers in Ecuador.
