Fernanda Lewis

London-based Fernanda Lewis creates modern classic, feminine hats and headpieces to suit every occasion. Each design is beautifully handmade to order using traditional millinery techniques; the bases are blocked by hand, materials dyed, petals and feathers gently shaped. Fernanda has always loved creating with her hands and her passion for textiles and sewing started at an early age. After exploring traditional millinery techniques with renowned milliner Edwina Ibbotson she was completely captivated the world of millinery and launched her own label. Many of the pieces in her collections use sustainable materials; vintage veiling, ribbons and flowers, and end-of-line and rescued fabrics. A vintage flower or the fabric of a piece of clothing beyond repair is often the inspiration for her stylish designs.

Her headpieces have been featured in The Telegraph, Glamour magazine and the Hat Magazine and worn by ITV Racing presenter Francesca Cumani as well as members of the Royal Family.
