Emily Bronwen

Emily Bronwen Brooks is a Theatrical Milliner, working in Film, Theatre and TV. Having always been interested in fashion history, her route into millinery followed studying an Art History degree. Working with costume designers such as Paul Tazewell in his Oscar winning team for ‘Wicked: Part One’ and Malgosia Turzanska in her Oscar nominated team for ‘Hamnet’, Emily takes pride in collaborating with designers to create beautiful pieces that realise their vision. Her hats can be seen in films and TV shows such as the ‘Wicked’ Franchise, ‘Hamnet’ and ‘Wednesday’ alongside productions throughout London’s West End. Emily’s work has also been exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum, New York as a finalist for the Milliner’s Guild’s Hat Competition (2024). Her work as a Theatrical Milliner means Emily is immersed in the history of hats, and as such, is an advocate for the preservation and continuation of millinery as a heritage craft.
