'Meeting the Craftsmen of Ecuador behind The Panama'

One of a series of talks and demonstrations to accompany the exhibition ‘Unveiled - the Craft of Millinery’

Carole Denford has trekked throughout Ecuador, through jungle, along coasts and to small villages, meeting the men, women and entire families who are without doubt the ‘craftsmen of the “Panama Hat”. Learn about the process that goes into making the Ecuadorian signature hat including the art of weaving a Panama hat.

Any profits raised for this event will go towards The Feltmakers Charitable Trust.
